Martin Guitars

Since 1833, the sound of a Martin guitar has been synonymous with the sound of American music. Based in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, Martin luthiers have innovated and perfected the craft of acoustic guitar building with an array of body styles and tonewoods. It was Martin that built the very first dreadnought guitars in the '30s, which set the standard for the design with models like the D-18, D-28, and later the D-35.
