This pickup uses blades instead of individual pole pieces, and so it can be used for both 4-string and 5-string Jazz Basses. This neck pickup will accommodate string spacings up to 3.00″ (76.2mm).

NOTE: this is a traditional sized 5-string Jazz Bass pickup and will not retrofit Fender Jazz V models. Pair with our active 5-string Jazz Bass bridge model for a perfectly matched set. Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, our Active 5-String Jazz Bass pickup uses a ceramic bar magnet, and comes with a 3-conductor lead wire.
