I have a 2018 Gibson Les Paul Standard here with its original Factory hard shell case. This one is in a cool color called blood orange. And I will post for you some of the key specs to this build from Gibson at the bottom of this listing. This is a lightweight model weighing just under 8 lb and 1 oz.

This is a player grade instrument here. It has a beautiful neck that is in pretty much excellent condition. But I am seeing a variety of small playwear throughout the guitar body.

Looking at the body top I don't see any One singular mark that stands out. More so there is just a series of small indentations anywhere from about a millimeter to 3 mm in size. Scattered here and there. There's typical surface swirling type playwear but no heavy scratches.

The body sides/edges show about four dings on the bottom Edge right where the body back meets the body edge. Three of them are little round ones about a couple millimeters and size. And then there's a line shape one that erodes a little bit of the edge of the Finish near the input jack. There's about a handful of surface soft indentations scattered here and there.

The body back shows no heavy Buckle rash per se but I'm seeing a few surface worming marks which are line shaped surface indentations. And there are quite a bit of small round dot sized indentations throughout. These are going to be small marks about a millimeter to 2 mm in size. And again like the body top there's no major ugly marks there's just a good variety of playwear of these small little marks throughout. There is average light surface scratches but no collection of heavy deep penetrating scratches. More so it's more like surface playwear surface swirling throughout.

The neck looks pretty good. I'm seeing a handful of pretty much minor minut type marks. With nothing noteworthy. Nothing you would feel on the neck contour. Or anything that shows up in pics that's large enough to describe just light signs of use on the neck. There is no fret where the Frets are tall and healthy with no pits or divots even up in the cowboy chord area. The setup plays nicely the neck is straight.

Note that I do not have the original electronics. This one has been upgraded to active EMG pickups. I'm not sure which model. They kind of all sound the same to me to be honest but they all sound good. They have a big chunky sound that has a combination of clarity and chunky/big they sound fat and big and are used in hard rock and metal for that reason and likewise they are very very silent in terms of background noise you don't hear the typical humming that you hear from passive pickups here. They're very quiet. They are installed correctly and there is no coil tap it's Humbuckers with a three-way switch.

So this guitar rates a 7.7/10 and grades as good. This is a typical desirable player's guitar. It has a neck that is in great shape with no fret wear. It has a variety of play where but nothing shameful or horrendous looking on it just a good amount of honest play where. The overall appearance and first look of the guitar still looks nice as the pictures portray. So this is a nice high-end guitar with a nice plane neck. At a nice price point. Which is really the Hallmark of a great players guitar it's got to be a nice guitar at a nice price and I feel this one fits that distinction.

This model is no longer offered by Gibson and is sorta a missing niche in their lineup and represents the more useful an innovative contemporary features that a Les Paul has seen over the years. It's a fine instrument for sure. The top features nice horizontal flame as well as vertical "curly" maple figuration giving it a nice busy, detailed look under the beautiful transparent nitro finish.

Tonally this Les Paul will have lots of bloom, and sort of a singing uncompressed tonality to it in the upper mids. The current Lp standards will sound thicker and tighter and more straightforward. The sound chambers in the mahogany body tend to give you more complexity and detail in the upper mids. It lacks nothing in the bass and thickness department.

Note that this listing may come down at anytime as I am a multi-platform seller and do sell locally and on my own Site as well in an effort to keep sales fluid. State sales tax will be charged On Reverb sales when applicable, so factor that in to your purchase.

I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes, ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing inside the box. And always Marked/denoted as fragile. I generally detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.

Thank you for reading and considering!
